MCG UP IN FLAMES RELEASE 2 AVAILABLE IN NOVEMBER

Indianapolis, IN (October 6, 2009) GreenLight Collectibles latest 1:64 scale Muscle Car Garage(MCG) release is a continuation of the Up In Flames theme introduced last fall.  GreenLight partnered with Tim Phelps, long time die-cast flame painter and Johns Hopkins University medical illustrator, for the second time. Phelps is best known for his book Up in Flames: The Art of Flame Painting (Motorbooks, 2006).  The first release was such a hit that The Diecast Magazine featured an article about the creative development and production of this series in Issue 5 entitled “GreenLight Collectibles Fire Starter” written by Tim Phelps himself!

MCG Up In Flames Series 2 is a six-car set that includes a 1966 Ford Galaxie, 1967 Chevy Corvette, 1969 Buick GS400 Convertible, 1970 Road Runner, 1971 Chevy C-10 Truck, and a 2009 Dodge Challenger, all customized with unique flame paint jobs.  In addition to the flame jobs, each model features 100% die-cast metal bodies and chassis, real rubber tires, detailed engine and interior, custom license plates and a storyline trading card detailing the individual flame job style. Look for this release in November 2009 at Toys ‘R’ Us and your favorite hobby shops!
