GreenLight puts a New Face on a Fan and Family Favorite
Indianapolis, IN (April 6, 2011) Diecast collectors know that the 1:64 Motor World Series is the GreenLight offering of a toy product line. Created to appeal to a younger demographic by its economical price point and brightly decorated body paint schemes, this series is a stepping stone into the wonderful world of collectible die cast and the fun complement to the avid die cast enthusiasts collection.
1:64 Motor World Series 5 is the first release that will debut the newly updated fresh and fun packaging design. The entire package has been reworked, including aesthetic design, logo and even the organization of the sub-series classification. Each car will be classified under a sub-series by manufacturer’s country of origin, creating a cohesive theme for the series. “This new packaging design emulates the fact that GreenLight is a forward moving trend setter in the die cast industry” says Russell Hughes, VP of Sales and Marketing. 1:64 Motor World is sure to attract attention on the pegs and stand out in every hobbyist’s collection.
GreenLight introduces this change with a series line up jam packed with historic and recognizable cars from around the world. 1:64 Motor World features vehicles from global car manufacturers headquartered in the United States and several other European nations. Well known domestic brands such as Ford and Chevrolet are paired with some of the most popular global car brands such as Volkswagen, Lamborghini and Porsche, creating an eclectic mix appealing to die-cast collectors from every corner of the globe.

Quantities are limited to 2,750 units of each car and will be available at Toys ‘R’ Us and GreenLight Hobby Distributors/Wholesalers and Online Dealers around the world beginning in May 2011.
1:64 Motor World die-cast model cars feature 100% authentic metal bodies, plastic chassis, authentic detailed wheels and are officially licensed by the respective automobile companies. As with GreenLight Collectibles offerings, the “Green Machine” chase car program carries over into the Motor World line with 2% of the production run manufactured in alternate schemes to provide the marketplace with the rare vehicles the collector craves.
