GreenLight's Under The Hood Club hosts Archive Sale

Indianapolis, IN (January 28, 2011)GreenLight Collectibles hosts an interactive and fan driven community offering an impressive assortment of perks ranging from top secret industry information to exclusive merchandise. The club is appropriately named Under The Hood(UTH), for the fact that all information obtained and shared within the community is behind the scenes and collector focused as well as the exclusive merchandise has superior detail far beyond the body, both the engine and chassis are painted for impressive accuracy, on a 1:64 scale.

UTH Members also have direct access to the GreenLight Staff and therefore can pay an integral part in the decision making and process. These key collectors can count on their voice being heard because they have the ear of all the important players within GreenLight. The member’s can give feedback and suggestions on new retail outlets, filling out series line-ups and debating on which new casting to invest.

It would seem that for those incentives alone, joining UTH would be worth the sign up costs, but that is just the beginning. Ever member can expect to receive a free Club Car at initial sign-up and annually with every renewal. Only 1,008 Club Cars are produced at a time 4 to 6 times a year. Along with the limited edition Club product the members can take advantage of extremely discounted GreenLight regular product lines and even chances to purchase the highly sought after Green Machine.

Events, contests, prizes and sales are a monthly occurrence in 2011 and for February, UTH will be hosting an Archival Sale. Archived product, is created before the official run of production quantities and these are shipped and housed in the GreenLight Headquarter Offices in Indianapolis, Indiana.

These archived product cases can include non-serialized Green Machine pre-production runs and the GreenLight team has decided to open up those case and make those Green Machine Pre Pro Pieces available to their UTH members only! Items this priceless cannot be put onto a base purchase price so a silent auction will be held with the highest bidder remaining anonymous but current bid announced with every submission.

Pictures of the set of the week for sale will be available for view on the UTH Forum Boards (Another perk of the Club, interactive postings and conversation starting free-for-all forum covering EVERYTHING GreenLight and diecast affiliated) as well as the current bidding price.
